As a testimony to the accuracy of Socfindo's laboratory analyses, our analysis results consistently score very high results in the Wageningen Evaluating programs for Analytical Laboratories (WEPAL), a worldwide laboratory proficiency testing scheme, with an average score of acceptance of 100% for plant samples (International Plant-Analytical Exchange Program).


Our laboratory is KAN - accredited and has ISO17025 certification, which is the main standard used by testing and calibration laboratories worldwide.
As planters we understand the importance of the right balance of nutrients in our plants and our soil. Water and nutrients, including trace elements all influence crop productivity.
Leaf and Rachis Analysis
Socfindo offers leaf and rachis analysis. These are very important annual analyses that are fundamental to understand the state of nutrition of your palms. These will facilitate tailoring your fertiliser requirements according to your palms needs within each specific leaf sampling unit (LSU).
Regular analysis will help you understand how your palms respond to your fertiliser strategy over time, according to your palm genetic origin or its environmental conditions.

Fertiliser, Compost Analysis and Fertiliser Recommendation
Socfindo offers fertiliser and compost analysis. This assists planters to confirm the composition of their fertiliser or compost in terms of elements.
Fertiliser is the most expensive input in our industry. Checking the quality of your product against the specification required will give the purchaser peace of mind, allowing management to concentrate on the time and quality of application.

Soil Analysis
Socfindo offers soil analysis. For instance soil analysis prior to replanting is useful, it will allow the plantation manager to understand the state of the soil, as after one generation of palm or rubber, we usually find a trend of acidification on tropical soils. This analysis will give you the tool to rebalance your soil, rectify the pH and restore cation exchange capacity.

Socfindo offers Latex diagnosis for the rubber planters. The latex diagnosis will give you an understanding of the physiological functioning of the laticifer system and sucrose metabolism for your clones, according to your tapping and stimulation management. This will help you identify potential increased stimulation or stimulation relief.

Water and Effluent Water Analysis
Socfindo is now be able to offer water analysis (running water, drinking water as well as effluent waste waters). The analysis will assist in reducing your water footprint and improving the access to clean water for your stakeholders.
